The Warrior's Pet (Cadi Warriors Book 1) Page 3
Giselle noticed as she passed that one of the aliens wore a floor length dress. She was the first female Giselle had seen among the violent alien men. The male next her held her like some sort of possession. Giselle glanced around seeing a few other similarly dressed females. The woman were barely a head shorter than the males, so giant compared to her. Their hair was black and long, their eyes dark and skin a red tone like the men. These alien women were even a similar build to the men. If it hadn't been for the clothes, breasts and slightly more delicate face Giselle might not have recognized the distinction between the sexes.
She turned toward the head of the table and saw an alien man watching her intently. The smirk on his face made Giselle want to shrink back in the cage, but she held her ground.
"Vigdis quo Carnager" The male by her cage addressed the man at the end of the table with a bow, one fist pressed into his chest. "I have brought you a present, a new pet."
The other male, Vigdis, snorted. "A present bought with my own money." The snarky male replied.
"Nay a tribute from your warriors in honor of your anniversary." The scarred male that bought her countered.
"Great I'm a birthday present. Like a damn puppy." Giselle thought sarcastically.
"Well then bring the creature." Vigdis waved his hand imperiously.
The cage was pushed forward then stopped several feet from Vigdis. He wasn't scarred like his guard. Vigdis had similar black long hair decorated with what Giselle was certain were teeth but also jewels. In fact Vigdis' kilted warrior's garb and weapons were all inlaid with precious metal and encrusted with stones. Even the blood red fabric he wore looked finer than that worn by the rabble in the room. Vigdis was clearly the leader of this lot, but not a benevolent one. Vigdis' eyes appeared cruel. The way he leered at her, Giselle wanted to cover her naked body.
"It is female." Vigdis cast a lascivious smile at his guard.
"Yes it would appear so." The scarred male stepped forward and handed Vigdis a key to the cage.
Vigdis took the key and unlocked the cage with an ominous click.
"Come here pet." Vigdis demanded as he loomed at the entrance.
Giselle hesitated only a moment but the demonic male quickly reached in grabbed her by the arm and yanked her out of the golden prison. He gripped her tight as he sneered inches from her face.
"When I tell you to do something you do it." He snarled baring gleaming white fangs.
Giselle nodded frantically as strong fingers bit into her arms. He held her so tight she feared her bones might be crushed under the force, but she didn't utter a sound or look away.
"Well Madhava the creature didn't piss itself." Vigdis chuckled to his lieutenant as he hauled Giselle over to the table. "Let me see this pet." The man swiped a hand across the table sending the dishes clattering to the floor.
Giselle gasped as she was yanked up and her ass was planted on the higher than normal tabletop.
"She is round with large breasts." Vigdis licked his thin lips. Giselle cringed. "Spread your legs" Vigdis demanded.
Giselle was again so shocked she failed to act fast enough.
"You will obey me." Vigdis snarled as he shoved her roughly onto her back. "Madhava, you two, hold her." He growled.
The one frightening warrior gripped her arms his sharp nails digging into her wrists as he forced her arms above her head. The other giant males grabbed her ankles splaying her wide to Vigdis' view.
"Please!" Giselle cried out in terror.
"Ah it speaks." Vigdis looked at her then back down to her pussy. "Madhava did you see how her little cunt quaked when she screamed?" He chuckled.
Giselle bit down on her lip to remain silent but she still shook uncontrollably. Vigdis' large hand reached out and roughly tugged at the strip of curled hair on her mound. It hurt but Giselle had waxed before so she could withstand the discomfort. However when he gripped her nether lips and splayed them apart she winced.
"Small cunt and rear." Vigdis said to his guards who grunted in agreement. "Odd nub here."
The cruel man flicked her clit and the pain of it made Giselle gasp panting for breath. Just as the pain started to subside a thick rough finger jabbed into her vagina.
"Let's see how deep she is." Vigdis grinned maliciously as he burrowed and shoved his digit into her dry channel.
Giselle closed her eyes trying to block out the invasion. She wanted to disappear from this twisted reality. The abrasive stinging turned to pain as the man pushed yet another finger in delving deeper. She could feel him jabbing at her cervix.
"My cock would rip her." Vigdis grunted as he pulled out only to thrust his fingers back in again sharply.
Giselle couldn't help the cry that left her lips.
"She's tight." Vigdis chuckled.
Giselle couldn't keep her tears from coming. The man was cruel, taking delight in her pain as he roughly probed her vagina. Giselle didn't mind rough play, but this amounted to rape.
"Such a shame this isn't a bit bigger." Vigdis slapped her cleft and Giselle cried out.
The awful brute, her new cruel master removed his fingers and Giselle almost sighed with relief.
"Let her go." Vigdis commanded, and the men did as they were told.
It took every bit of willpower not to scramble back. Vigdis pulled Giselle off the table but rather than putting her back in her cage he sat and pulled her down on his thigh, her nether region still aching from the unwanted intrusion.
"Food." Vigdis bellowed.
Giselle uncomfortably watched several Toufik bring more dishes of food then scurry off. Vigdis and his men continued eating as Giselle sat uncomfortably on his lap like a chihuahua, dreading what Vigdis would do next. The awful man's hands roamed her body in between bites.
"Vigdis." Madhava spoke after the meal was cleared. "One of the citizens has a petition to mate."
"Fine." Vigdis waved his hand.
Another alien entered. He looked just as big as the others but wore fewer weapons. Behind him was a female.
"Daimio" The male bowed. "I come to seek your permission to bond with my intended."
"You can mate her if she is worthy. If not you must join my ranks." Vigdis along with several of his men chuckled.
Giselle felt a chill go up her spine. She wanted to tell the timid looking couple to run.
"She is worthy." The man spoke with determination in defense of his would be mate.
"I will be the judge of that." Vigdis growled.
Before the male and female knew what was happening, they were seized. Vigdis stood up and Giselle nearly crashed to the floor stumbling and catching herself at the last minute. Vigdis moved the chair back and nodded to the table. The guards holding the alien woman brought her over and bent her over the table.
Giselle couldn't watch, she turned her head from the scene. She heard the tearing of fabric and the cry of the alien female. Giselle glanced up to see Vigdis penetrate the female.
"You were right she was worthy. But she's not anymore." Vigdis gritted to the poor male that fought the guards holding him, horror etched on his face.
The woman screamed out with each of Vigdis' cruel thrusts. It was bad enough being probed the way she had been, but Giselle couldn't imagine being pounded into so forcefully. The piteous female sounded like she could barely withstand it. What would happen if Vigdis ignored the fact that she was so small. It was all too much to take. Giselle clenched her eyes closed as she gripped the chair with white knuckles. She bit down on her lip till she tasted blood to keep from screaming "STOP!"
"This can't be happening." She thought as her mind refused to cope.
At some point she either passed out or lost touch with sanity.
Kagan quo Rordan
Although pleased with the goods he was able to obtain Kagan wasn't happy how long it was taking to haul the parts he obtained from the Jurou Biljana across Scelus territory.
It was taking them longer to reach the location where he could stash the equipment
before going after Vigdis quo Carnager to get the Toufik.
Kagan didn't like being so far from the borderlands. Thankfully Vigdis was constantly spoiling for conflict so his entourage was heading back to the border to again take up the task of annoying Kagan and his armies.
Kagan's people and the armies of the Vidya Cadi had steadily pushed at the Scelus Cadi but the war was at a stalemate. The victories not seeming to outweigh the losses, land lost here when it was won there.
The borderland boundary wavered but currently it was a large valley on the primary continent nestled between a split mountain range. The area stretched from north to south and contained several vastly different zones. In the north closest to his home, Vidya Cadi, was a grassy plain which narrowed as the mountains pinched in, before reaching the southern marsh lands and a jungle at the edge of enemy territory.
But for the moment they traveled the rolling southern grassy foot hills, this area not so different to his home, perhaps more arid. There were numerous villages that they passed, and even though they were inhabited by Scelus Cadi warriors these weren't of the Anzac guard serving directly under Vigdis quo Carnager. These were regional armigerent and only a threat in large numbers.
Kagan wasn't foolish enough to let his guard down around any Scelus Cadi warrior though. Vigdis' warriors followed the tyrant unquestioningly because reprisal was swift, violent and tended to extend to ones family as well.
Kagan shook his head as he maneuvered his manx over another hill the smaller mountain peaks coming into view. On the other side they would drop their goods before circling around to meet up with Vigdis who was taking the easier route further south.
Kagan threw his fist up to halt his men.
"We camp." He announced.
Kagan clapped his hand on Dagaa, his lieutenant's shoulder as the male barked out orders to the men and Toufik slaves in their party. His commander pleased him. If Kagan didn't know the surrounding men, he would've been certain they were a band of Scelus Cadi traders. Their disguise was that good.
Before long there was a fire and food going round. One of the Toufik quietly approached handing him a platter of meat and vegetables. Kagan made the hand signal for ‘Thank you’ and the hairy female nodded before attending to another warrior.
The men talked quietly as was wise given the circumstance. Usually Kagan would listen to their amusing tales and even join in but tonight his mind wandered to the fair skinned diminutive female in the gilded cage at the market. Her long hair reminded him of the tall dry grass on the plains. She was practically half his size, but she had to be full grown for her species if the fullness of her breasts was any indication. The female had no coda stretching out behind her like his kind, only the smooth swell of two soft looking creamy globes. Such a delicate looking creature and yet her expression had flashed with determination.
Kagan shook his head. Why was he so preoccupied by the little creature? What would he do with a pet? He was constantly on the battlefront rarely returning to the Vidya palisade. Maybe he could release the female from the gilded prison and put her among the Toufik females to serve the warriors.
Kagan snorted. He doubted the little female could do the back breaking work that the Toufik females were required to do. The tasks weren't that difficult but for a woman so small they'd be too much. Then again Kagan recalled how spirited the female had been.
Even as Kagan lay looking up at the stars waiting for sleep to claim him a pair of ocean blue eyes plagued him.
Giselle
Despite how cold the wind was Giselle could find no relief from the sun's rays in the cage. Her skin was becoming chapped and red as the caravan of brutish men moved in a long line down the road. They stretched out before her as far as she could see, there had to be at least a hundred guards and nearly as many Toufik. None of them cared that she suffered from exposure, they probably assumed the pink tinge of her skin was normal.
Giselle looked over at the bowl of water on the cage floor. She debated taking a drink knowing she needed to stay hydrated, but that posed another problem. There was no place to pee in her fancy prison and she wasn't about to attract attention so someone would let her out. As long as she stayed inside the cage she was ignored for the most part.
Something struck Giselle's side, and she turned to see a piece of yellow fruit laying on the floor of the cage. Giselle looked up to see the taunting eyes of Vigdis. The asshole had decided that was the best way to feed her, throwing tidbits into the prison as he snacked. Giselle grabbed the fruit and bit into the tough lemony skin. The meat of it was watery sweet, so she gobbled it down avoiding the pit in the center. They hadn't fed her much so despite her chagrin at how the bastard fed her she couldn't turn her nose up at the morsel.
There was a noise ahead. Giselle watched as the strange hovering vehicle approached. The vehicles that were commonplace on this planet looked like a mechanical hovercraft crossed with an open air chariot. Some pulled one or more hovering wagons of supplies.
The culture of the alien people, or Scelus Cadi as she'd learned, was an odd juxtaposition. They had futuristic technology and yet the people dressed and acted like something out of the middle ages. Some of the men even rode on the backs of beasts which looked like overgrown tigers called manx. The warriors really were the epitome of some sort of post apocalypse gladiators or knights from an alternate reality.
"Oh wait I am in an alternate reality!" Giselle practically slammed her head into the bars.
The small towns they passed were filled with houses and buildings made from the hewn black granite. It seemed the standard building material here. When they stopped last night Giselle had nothing to do but study the simple interior of the home Vigdis had taken over. The dwelling was spacious, the furniture hand crafted from pale wood, textiles covered the stark cold stone walls and there was a central fireplace to heat and cook with. It wasn't dissimilar to the dining hall where she'd been presented to Vigdis.
Just as Giselle became used to the almost primitive atmosphere someone would break out an unusual technological object used for this or that. Many of the soldiers had things that reminded her of cell phones or tablets.
Besides the dozens of knives and blades the demonic males wore strapped to their chests, they also seemed to have other weapons that reminded Giselle of a some sort of phaser straight out of Star Trek.
Giselle wondered what occurred to create a culture of such polar opposites.
The Toufik slaves parted to let the hovering vehicle approach. Giselle had no doubt the rider wouldn't blink an eye at running one of the hairy beasts down. She'd already seen Vigdis clip the gentle Toufik more than once with the vehicle he maneuvered beside the cage. Each time he barked as if it was their fault when he'd been the one not paying attention.
"Daimio" The guard said with a bow as he stopped. "Lord I'm here to report a troop of Vidya Cadi were overtaken in the village ahead."
"What were they doing in Scelus territory?" Vigdis growled.
"From what we could gather from the prisoner, they were returning to their territory from the recent auction."
Vigdis spurred his vehicle along at a faster pace and since her hovering cage was somehow connected, it jaunted along. Giselle grabbed hold of the bars to keep the increased pace and bouncing from rattling her around the golden prison.
As they came over top of another rise and entered the town Giselle's hand flew to her mouth in horror. The sight of carnage made her double over and retch on the floor.
Laying strewn on the ground were over a dozen bodies, some still spasming in the throes of death as massive wounds spilled blood and gore. One poor soul's intestines lay in a grotesque heap while another body lay minus its head a few yards away. Madhava stood casually watching a few of the guards as they spitted a convulsing body on a pike, raising it up like some kind of demented flag.
Vigdis looked at the sight with maniacal glee as he stopped in front of his guards. Several warriors held a man on the ground. Vigdis dismounted an
d approached the pathetic prisoner. The poor man looked as if he had fought valiantly but failed, blood running down his brow and heaving chest.
"So you thought you could sneak onto the land of Vigdis quo Carnager?" Vigdis demanded as he kicked the huddled man. "This poor excuse for a disguise isn't even dyed with the acinus berry." He scoffed.
Giselle looked at the pale red kilt the prisoner wore compared to Vigdis' blood red garment. She then looked at the faded version his guards wore not seeing much of a distinction in the color. As she looked around, she noted even the villagers wore the red color in some fashion. She shook her head befuddled by the custom. It must be like the Scottish and their distinctive plaid tartans.
As Giselle looked back at Vigdis and the prisoner she wished she hadn't. Vigdis pulled a long blade from its jeweled scabbard and pointed it at the man.
"Tie his limbs to the manx." He commanded and was quickly obeyed.
The prisoner's arms and legs were secured to the harnesses of four of the strange cat-beasts. Then Vigdis purposefully, leisurely pressed his blade to the bound man's stomach. As the cruel unforgiving steel sunk in ever deeper the doomed man gritted his teeth and sweat erupted on his brow. An instant later a deafening bellow erupted from the prisoner's throat as Vigdis viciously sliced open the man's bowel.
"Hiya!" Vigdis hollered.
The guards released the black and tan striped manx and the massive felines charged in opposite directions. Giselle squeezed her eyes shut but not before witnessing the poor man being rent in half. She collapsed on the cage floor trembling in horrified shock.
"Burn the village for harboring the enemy." Vigdis ruthlessly announced.
As the caravan moved on Giselle could hear the desperate cries of the villagers as many of them were barricaded in their homes and burned alive.
Giselle sat against the bars watching as the sun set. The caravan of barbarians had stopped to make camp at the foot of a series of tall snow-tipped peaks. If she had been at home, she would have admired the scene of the sun dipping behind the dark proud monoliths, setting them aflame as the day gave way to night. But all Giselle could think of was how she could she possibly escape the cruel hand that fate had dealt her. Sadly she had given up the notion of ever making it home again. The best she could hope for was freedom.
